Saggese & Associates specializes in civil matters. These cases generally result from a controversy between two or more “people” (“people” can include individuals, businesses, or government agencies). Most often, the result is a payment of money to be paid by one party to another. The judgment is imposed to make the aggrieved person “whole” for the harm that has been caused by the other.
A judgment in a civil manner does not include the imposition of a criminal sentence. The rules of civil procedure are different than those of criminal procedure due to the different proceedings. Suits of civil nature fall into various categories depending on the nature of suits or status of the person filing the suit.
Our practice emphasizes representation in the following civil case areas:
• Auto Accidents
• Personal Injury
• Wrongful Death
• Slip and Fall
• Strict Liability
• Defective Products
• By or Against Corporations
• Family Matters
• Medical Malpractice
• Dental Malpractice
